turkey trot hitchhiker

The Turkey Trot hitchhiker flew the coop on Thanksgiving Day 2001 and is
resting comfortably with another holiday icon somewhere in Connecticut.
He's looking forward to a long future of travel and safe refuge with his
friends in letterboxes far and wide.

Thanks, everybody, for your responses about placing boxes despite winter
approaching. Will do! Thanks also, Lisa, for the info on the linoleum
carvers. I'm getting by okay with my exacto knife, but Mr. Turkey makes
#2 hand carved stamp and I can see already how much fun it is -- can only
imagine it'll be even more fun with better tools!

Peace -- Debbie

NEW hitchhikers -- ones you make and launch -- count as Ps.
Ones you find then re-plant count as Fs.
(in my book anyway)
